Agreement

These terms govern your use of rankingledger.com and The Ranking Ledger's guest and account-based ranking features. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account. You are responsible for your sign-in credentials, activity under your account, and the accuracy of information you provide. Do not attempt to access another person's account.

Your rankings and content

You retain ownership of the original content you submit. You give The Ranking Ledger a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to present content you choose to share.

You must have the rights needed to submit names, descriptions, images, and links. Do not upload or link to unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, privacy-invasive, or malicious material.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• interfere with the service, its security, or another user;
• probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls;
• use the service for spam, fraud, harassment, or illegal activity; or
• manipulate advertising impressions, clicks, or referral activity.

Third-party services and advertising

The service may display advertisements and may link to or load content from third-party websites. Those parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control or endorse user-submitted third-party content merely because it appears in a ranking.

Our service and intellectual property

The Ranking Ledger name, interface, software, and original site materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the service or permission to use its branding.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts that violate these terms, create security or legal risk, or harm the service or its users. We will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss of saved content, but you should retain copies of important rankings.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of every draft, or the accuracy of user-submitted content.

To the extent permitted by law, The Ranking Ledger and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
